GrandCanyonFunTrips.com is operated by Las Vegas locals. We often joke with each other about the amount of friends and family that spring out of the wood-work when they hear "so and so moved to Vegas". Nothing like being "Voluntold" to manage entertainment and activities for every group of friends that swings through town to make you an expert. It also gives one a keen eye for spotting great deals through the typical Vegas "smoke & mirrors". Our blog chronicles our adventures, misadventures, and generally serves to lift the veil on Las Vegas! Interested yet, then [Keep Reading] !!

Access to Skywalk Bridge, the Grand Canyon’s latest attraction, and a Native American-led tour of the popular West Rim are highlights of this deluxe motorcoach excursion. During the luxury coach trip to the Canyon, a lively narration by the expert driver/guide peaks interest about the American West, its native people, hardy settlers, and the area’s wildlife and scenic wonders, such as the 900-year-old Joshua Forest.   Passing through the picturesque town of Boulder City and its tree-lined streets, sightseers can only imagine the primitive living conditions endured by more than 5,000 Dam construction workers and their families.

Tour Highlights
  • Panoramic views and photo opportunities
  • Narrated tour by expert guides
  • Boulder City
  • Lake Mead National Recreation Area
  • Hoover Dam history and artwork
  • Hoover Dam’s W.W.II gun emplacement
  • Guided tour of the West Rim of the Grand Canyon
  • Indian Village
  • Eagle Point
  • Guano Point
  • Hualapai Ranch
  • Skywalk Glass Bridge (tour optional, admission price is $29.95)
  • Complimentary continental breakfast and lunch

Upon arriving at the first stop on the Arizona side of Hoover Dam, there will be time to explore and photograph the mammoth 726-foot engineering marvel.
At the West Rim of the Grand Canyon, tour takers will receive a complimentary lunch and a guided tour by Native Americans. The Hualapai Indians, the spiritual guardians of the scenic wonder, consider the Grand Canyon sacred.

Among the tour highlights is the Indian Village, which offers shopping, entertainment, and a museum-quality representation of several Plains Indian tribes. Eagle and Guano points are popular spots because of their spectacular views. Guano Point is also known for its fascinating historical significance. Costly attempts were made more than 40 years ago to extract bat guano, used in commercial fertilizer, from a cave located 600 feet above the Canyon floor. Park visitors are fascinated by the concept of Skywalk, a glass bridge extending 4,000 feet over the Canyon. The imaginative attraction requires purchase of a separate pass.
